CHRISTIAN COUNTY, Ill. (WCIA) -- The entire Village of Morrisonville has been under a boil order since Friday, and officials announced on Monday that the order is still in effect.
The boil order began at 3:30 p.m. on Sept. 5 after a water main break, according to a social media post by the Christian County Health Department.
The boil order will remain in effect until lab testing confirms that the water is safe, officials said. The health department added that they would provide an update when they receive the test results back.
All water used for drinking and cooking should be boiled for at least five minutes.
