A man’s body was recovered by first responders Monday afternoon from the waters off Brooklyn’s Floyd Bennett Field .

NYPD Harbor Unit cops pulled the body out of Jamaica Bay and brought it to the shoreline of Floyd Bennett Field, a decommissioned airfield that is now a park and part of the Gateway National Recreation Area, about 12:10 p.m., officials said.

Police were alerted to the body by a 911 caller.

The Medical Examiner will conduct an autopsy to determine how the man died as cops work to determine his identity.
