RENO, Nev. (KOLO) - A man who had been convicted of sexual assault, kidnapping, and battery has been sentenced to life in prison.

33-year-old George Claros was found guilty in March of this year.

Claros was given an aggregate of 45 years to life.

Claros was arrested in November 2021 after picking up a 52-year-old woman walking down 4th Street. A jury found that Claros beat her then sexually assaulted her multiple times.
