TOPEKA, Kan. (KSNW) - For the second time since taking office less than three years ago, Attorney General Kris Kobach is suing Governor Laura Kelly.
This lawsuit revolves around the personal information of SNAP recipients, including names, dates of birth, addresses, and even Social Security numbers. The Kelly Administration is refusing to hand it over to the federal government.
"The governor is not only violating Kansas, she is also violating federal statutory requirements," Kobach said.
