YOUNGSTOWN A vehicle has crashed into a retail store on Mahoning Avenue in Youngstown.

According to a photo sent in from a person on the scene, a car has crashed into the Dollar General on Mahoning Avenue, located at 3309 Mahoning Avenue.

The Youngstown Police Department told 21 News that several police, fire and ambulance personnel responded to the area. Police say that the incident happened just after 5 p.m. on Monday.

According to the Youngstown Fire Department and the Youngstown Police Department on scene, two people have been taken to the hospital.

They believe that the driver of the vehicle was possibly having a medical emergency. Responders took the driver to the hospital, where her condition remains unknown.
