KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- K-92 in Kansas and Missouri is set to fully close next week while the Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) does bridge inspections.

KDOT is conducting regular bridge inspections for the K-92 Centennial Bridge over the Missouri River.

This will take place on Tuesday, Sept. 9, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., weather permitting.

This will include a full closure of eastbound and westbound K-92, from U.S. 73 (K-7/4th Street) in Leavenworth, to MO 45 Highway Spur in Platte County.

Minor delays are expected and motorists are asked to allow extra time for travel. For more information, click here.
