Christian McCaffrey is making history as a member of the 49ers.
With the star running back’s 73 yards receiving against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, McCaffrey reached 4,539 receiving yards for his career in just 96 games played.
That made him the fastest running back to reach 4,500-plus yards in that few games since at least 1970, and it made him just the second player to achieve the feat – the first being Baltimore Colts’ and Pro Football Hall of Fame running back Lenny Moore, whose NFL career ended in 1967 -- one year before McCaffrey's father, Ed , was even born.
McCaffrey has continued to push all-time NFL records left and right and continues to show why he could be one of the greatest acquisitions in 49ers franchise history.
McCaffrey also added 69 yards rushing on the day
