DALLAS — Sure, maybe you've seen attack ships off the shoulder of Orion. Maybe you've watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate. But have you ever seen Blade Runner with a live orchestra?

Well, that's just what The Majestic in Dallas is offering this January. For the first time ever, the movie's synthesizer-led score, composed by Vangelis, will be performed live alongside the film by The Avex Ensemble, an international group who have performed along to countless classic movies like Amadeus , The Shawshank Redemption and The Terminator .

And this will be the Final Cut of Blade Runner . Released by director Ridley Scott in 2007, it's considered by many to be the best cut of the film, as it is without the dry, unneeded narration of Harrison Ford's protagonist,
