The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the person seen in the attached photo who they say is wanted in connection with an assault that occurred in Fordham Manor.

Police said that on Tuesday, Sept. 2, at around 9.35 a.m. a 23-year-old male victim was onboard a BX9 MTA bus traveling eastbound on East Kingsbridge Road. They said after the bus reached its stop opposite 321 East Fordham Road, it opened its doors and the victim began to exit.

“As he was stepping off of the bus, an unidentified individual approached from behind and stabbed the victim multiple times to the back and left arm with an unknown sharp object,” a police spokesperson said. “The unidentified individual then fled on foot to parts unknown.” Police said EMS responded and transported the victim to St. Barnabas
