A man has been taken to hospital after police shot him in Brisbane's east earlier this morning.
At about 9.20am, police were called to a house on Cabanda Street following reports of a fire.
Police said it's believed there was an interaction between the man and officers, leading to his shooting.
Officers immediately offered medical assistance, police said, and the man was taken to hospital for treatment.
No police officers or members of the public were injured, and there is no risk to public safety.
An investigation is underway by the Ethical Standards Command, under oversight by the Crime and Corruption Commission.
