Max Minghella is officially stepping into the DC Universe!

The 39-year-old Handmaid’s Tale actor was seen for the first time on the set of the upcoming Clayface movie on Monday (September 8) in Liverpool, England.

Dressed in a detective’s suit with a striped tie and a holstered gun, Max could be seen taking photos behind the wheel of a car, hinting at his investigative work.

Tom Rhys Harries plays the titular villain, while Naomi Ackie stars as a scientist connected to the Clayface origin story, and Max ‘s character happens to be dating her.

Clayface will follow “an ascending actor ( Harries ) whose face is disfigured by a gangster. As a last resort, the actor turns to a fringe Elizabeth Holmes-style scientist ( Ackie ) for help,” according to The Hollywood R
