Unidentified human remains were found recently inside a vehicle at Lake Powell, the National Park Service (NPS) announced on Wednesday, Sept. 3.

Visitors to Lone Rock Beach within Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, about 2 miles south of the Utah town of Big Water, reported what appeared to be a submerged vehicle during the Labor Day weekend. On Tuesday, Sept. 2, NPS personnel confirmed the observation and were able to obtain a vehicle identification number from the dashboard. Copy article link
