Only Murders in the Building has been charming murder mystery fans since the first season premiered on Hulu in 2021. In Season 5, our trio of amateur sleuths and true crime aficionados, Charles (Steve Martin), Oliver (Martin Short), and Mabel (Selena Gomez), get caught up in yet another murder (in their building, of course) and set out to haphazardly investigate — the only way they know how. The formulaic nature of the show makes Only Murders the perfect candidate for becoming stale by the fifth season. Yet somehow, the chemistry among the leads, the rotating list of guest stars (including plenty of new A-listers this season), and the ridiculously silly murder storylines result in a delightfully funny and addictive guilty pleasure every single time. Season 5 is no exception.
