Well-known government watchdog and UTEP professor Max Grossman allegedly pushed his partner after she accused him of cheating on her, court documents state.
Grossman was arrested Friday, Sept. 5, on suspicion of assault causing bodily injury involving family violence. Grossman, through his attorney Brian Kennedy, has denied the allegations, calling the charges "ridiculous."
The incident happened about 10 a.m. on Aug. 27 at the couple's home in the 6200 block of Camino Alegre Drive in West El Paso, a complaint affidavit states. The alleged victim reported the incident to El Paso Police Department officers on Sept. 3.
The woman told officers she believed Grossman was cheating on her. She added they had been having issues with their relationship for "some time" and had broken up. The cou
