CHICO, Calif. - Downtown Chico buzzed with activity on Sunday as crowds gathered for the annual Taste of Downtown event.

Action News Now was present to capture the excitement as a line of people stretched from Third Street and Broadway into the City Plaza.

Participants were either checking in or purchasing tickets. Each ticket allowed for eight samplings from the 30 participating restaurants, cafes, and breweries.

The Downtown Chico Business Association organized the event as one of its signature attractions. The goal was to draw interest in local establishments, encouraging attendees to return for more and boost local business.
