KITTERY, Maine - Traip Academy field hockey senior Noelle French is Monday's Seacoast Standout Player of the Day.

French scored four goals in Traip's 5-1 Class C win over Wells, helping the Rangers improve to 2-0 on the young season.

"Noelle's footwork, and her ability to shuffle while staying low really stood out (Monday)," Traip Academy head coach Anna Powers said. "She has an incredible drive to score and is as aggressive on offense as she is on defense. She communicates and positions herself well at all times."

French believes Monday's win came down to the team's shared chemistry.

"Our passes and spacing were on point, and we really had the drive to win and support each other," French said. "I hope to see the energy we came out with in every game this season."
