PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – More than four months after a teenager was killed by a bullet that hit him through the walls of his neighbor’s apartment, police have arrested their first suspect.

Anthony Hunter Jr. was taken into custody early Tuesday after police served a search warrant at his home. He is one of three suspects in the murder of 13-year-old Liam Spahnle-Bailey.

The shooting happened inside the Eleven Pines Apartments on SW 11th Street near Highland Road. Officers provided emergency treatment to the teen and rushed him to an area hospital, but he did not survive.

Another wounded man was found not far from the scene and was taken to the hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
