Trans Jeopardy! legend Amy Schneider has responded perfectly to a conspiracy theory circulating about her record winning streak.
Schneider, who came out as trans in 2017, four years prior to her first appearance on the long-running US game show, currently holds the longest winning streak by a woman in Jeopardy! history, with 40 consecutive game wins.
But not everyone is happy about her historic second-longest winning streak in the show’s history, trailing only the current host, Ken Jennings. One critic responded to one of her X posts, writing: “Was Jeopardy! champ Amy Schneider given insider help to boost DEI? Her 40-game streak raised eyebrows—did producers tip the scales? #Jeopardy #DEI.”
