GEORGETOWN, Texas — The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) has provided a closer look into when a bridge in Georgetown is set to be repaired after a crash involving an 18-wheeler happened earlier this month.
In an update from TxDOT on Tuesday, repairs on the bridge along State Highway 29 and Interstate 35 southbound are expected to be finished in roughly four to five weeks.
The department said work began Sunday on two interior beams. Two additional beams are set to be replaced, an exact date of completion remains unclear at this time.
