Walnut junior quarterback Nohlen Simons has eased some anxiety for coach Eric Peralta, and now all the pieces are falling into place.
Simons is averaging 194 yards with six touchdowns, and has the Mustangs off to a 3-0 start following last week’s 37-12 victory over Sonora. Simons led the way, throwing for 198 yards and three touchdowns.
