GRAND RAPIDS, MI — With Acrisure Amphitheater set to open in May , the venue’s first concert season is shaping up to be “really strong,” and is expected to feature a diverse lineup appealing to many live music fans, officials said.

“The quantity and the quality of shows that are either locked in or trying to be solidified is really, really strong,” said Rich MacKeigan, executive director of the Grand Rapids-Kent County Convention/Arena Authority, which owns the venue.

He added, “It’s going to be a pretty diverse schedule, a pretty diverse calendar, and I think there are different genres that are going to be well represented.”
