Comcast’s NBCUniversal has told employees they will need to come into the office at least four days per week starting next year.

As of Jan. 5, 2026, NBCU will mandate a four-day in-office workweek for hybrid employees, who will now be required to be onsite from Monday through Thursday, according to a memo from NBCUniversal chief operating officer Adam Miller, a copy of which was obtained by Variety . Staff will have the option to work remotely or in the office on Fridays, per Miller’s memo.

According to Miller’s memo, employees who are not “prepared to comply with the 4-day in-office requirement” may be eligible for “a voluntary exit assistance package” if they they are VP level or below.
