Mets' manager Carlos Mendoza expresses concern following injured pitcher's latest setback

New York Mets ' right-handed pitcher, Tylor Megill, currently finds himself on the IL. He was originally placed on the 15-day IL on June 17th with an elbow sprain, but was transferred to the 60-day IL on July 8th.

Megill had been pitching in Triple-A, making four rehab starts so far. However, during his last start, he felt some tightness in his elbow when throwing secondary pitches.

This has led to him being shut down while the team looks to get a diagnosis of the problem. Ahead of the Mets' Monday game against the Philadelphia Phillies , Carlos Mendoza broke the news that Megill would be undergoing testing, via NJ.com's Manny Gomez .
