The fire in a bark pile at the Sexton lumber mill in Lethbridge, Bonavista Bay is finally out.

The fire spread to nearby woods earlier this week, burning an area of approximately one hectare.

The Chair of the Local Service District says the fire was finally doused today.

An evacuation order which had been ordered earlier this week was lifted last night.
