PITTSBURGH —

A cat that was trapped inside a Pittsburgh apartment building during a massive fire has been rescued.

Pittsburgh Action News 4 first learned of Jelly the cat during a live interview with Joe Aycock , whose mother was a resident of the building on Forward Avenue. Advertisement

Joe said he was doing laundry when he heard the alarm.

"We have a little cat named Jelly and I hope she's OK -- and I'm really scared. I just don't want it to be my fault because I should have gotten her out," Aycock told at the time. "My mother-in-law has been crying. She's been worried about the cat."

We were there when Aycock was reunited with the Jelly. That video is in the player above.
