In the last 24 hours Israel has been accused of carrying out air strikes in central and western parts of Syria as well as Hezbollah targets in Eastern Lebanon.

This afternoon the Israel Defence force made “a precise strike” in the Qatari capital Doha, targeting senior Hamas leaders. The Gulf state has been the stage for Gaza ceasefire and hostage release talks. Israel’s Prime Minister Netanyahu said tonight that the strike was a retaliation for yesterday’s killing of six Israelis in Jerusalem.
