HOUSTON (KIAH) — Authorities said that a suspect that has allegedly attacked several women in the last month at Shepherd Park is now in custody.
Harris County Precinct 1 Constable Alan Rosen said that the suspect, a juvenile, was arrested by Houston police.
HPD was working with the Precinct 1 Constable Office after two attacks happened in August at the park.
In the first attack, authorities said the woman got away by screaming “fire” and getting the attention of others. The suspect then pulled his hoodie over his head and left.
In the next attack, bystanders were able to chase the would-be kidnapper until they lost sight of him.
No one was hurt in either of these incidents.
Authorities have yet to announce the charges against the suspect.
