Kyle Harrison could soon debut for the Boston Red Sox.

No, it doesn’t look like they’ll back out this time…

Harrison is joining the club and is expected to be activated ahead of its series finale with the Athletics on Wednesday, according to Worcester T&G’s Tommy Cassell.

Harrison, who was acquired from the San Francisco Giants in the Rafael Devers trade on June 15, has spent the last couple of months in Triple-A Worcester. The Red Sox appeared to have promoted him last week, though plans changed and he never earned the promotion despite being brought into the fold for a couple of days.

Connelly Early, another left-handed pitcher who recently spent time with the WooSox, is expected to make his debut with the Red Sox on Tuesday.

Harrison has gone 4-2 with a 3.65 ERA in 49 1/3 inn
