Ican easily tell you all about what I love about my job as a veterinarian, but I would first like to highlight the diversity of the veterinary field and how greatly this answer may vary across my colleagues worldwide. When you think of a “veterinarian,” you will probably think of my line of work: a general practitioner who vaccinates puppies, performs surgeries, cleans your pet’s teeth and is there for your cat when she is feeling ill. While many of us around the world fall into this category, there are thousands of veterinarians across the world, and even in our county who hold very different positions.
