MADISON, Wis. (WFRV) - Officials in Wisconsin say a 26-year-old man was arrested on September 4 for alleged involvement in suspicious drug activity.

According to the Madison Police Department, officers were sent to a parking lot in the 5400 block of Congress Avenue shortly after 5:30 p.m. on September 4 for the reported drug activity, and attempted to approach a man in a parked vehicle.

The man, identified as 26-year-old Taylor Javaris, reportedly drove away and crashed into a tree before he exited the vehicle and started to run away, throwing a gun in the process. Officers stopped and arrested him, reportedly finding multiple items in his vehicle: • 'Significant' amount of suspected crack cocaine • Loaded handgun • Loaded magazine
