Tottenham starlet Luka Vuskovic will become a better player than club captain Cristian Romero.

That is the bold view of former Spurs boss Martin Jol, who is a huge fan of the Croatian - regarded to be one of Europe's hottest centre-back prospects.

The 18-year-old finally linked up with Tottenham earlier this summer - two years after signing him from Hadjuk Split.

Spurs forked out £12million to secure his services in 2023 , but had to wait for him to turn 18 before the defender could make the move to England.

In that time, he was shipped out on loan to Polish outfit Radomiak Radom and Belgian side Westerlo respectively, earning rave reviews in the process.
