Channing Tatum is revealing the role he was “terrified” to accept – and praising the actor that later accepted it!

The 45-year-old actor says he was previously offered a role in the 2010 drama Blue Valentine , starring Ryan Gosling and Michelle Williams . The actor revealed that he was “absolutely terrified” of the role, but he later went on to work with the director in his latest movie.

“As I was just reminded, it was about 20 years ago that I did kind of one of my first real, I guess, acting roles, and Derek saw it and, and he believed in me, I think way before I ever believed in myself,” Channing said at the TIFF Tribute Awards , speaking of Blue Valentine and Roofman director Derek Cianfrance .
