EAST LIVERPOOL, Ohio (WKBN) - The Lou Holtz Upper Ohio Valley Hall of Fame has been a point of pride in East Liverpool for decades, but as it faces serious financial challenges, its future is in jeopardy.

Director of Operations Micelle Roberts said the museum's financial situation is dire.

"We are under a tremendous financial strain," Roberts said. "We're down to our last $8,000. That's enough to keep us in business, maybe through the end of September."

The Hall of Fame isn't just a sports museum -- it's a celebration of accomplishments from people across the Ohio Valley, on and off the playing field. For the past 25 years, it has served as a hub of local history, education and inspiration.

But now the Hall is running out of time -- and money.
