NORMAN — Oklahoma football has picked up its first commitment in the aftermath of having dozens of high school recruits on campus for its win over Michigan last Saturday.
Demare Dezeurn, a four-star wide receiver prospect in the class of 2027 who visited the Sooners over the weekend, announced his commitment to OU on Tuesday.
Dezeurn hails from Palisades High School in Pacific Palisades, California. The 5-foot-10, 170-pounder is ranked the No. 17 class of 2027 wide receiver in the country by the 247Sports Composite rating.
By that same metric, Dezeurn is considered the No. 10 player in California and the No. 95 player in the country for the 2027 class. Dezeurn chose the Sooners over UCLA and Miami.
