KINGSTON, N.Y. — A county official says residents could move into a proposed new 15-unit affordable housing cooperative at the site of the Elizabeth Manor boarding house that was left uninhabitable by a fire five years ago in as soon as 30 months.

Deputy County Executive Amberly Jane Campbell said Tuesday, Sept. 9, that the Ulster County Housing Development Authority project’s chosen development team, Maeda Construction, is working on getting the approvals from the city’s Planning Board, the Kingston City School Board and State Funding sources.
