AUGUSTA COUNTY, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- The Augusta County Sheriff's Office wants to put out the word about a new phone scam reported by a number of citizens.

The calls, which come from a restricted phone number, come from someone portraying a Lt. Cason, Lt. Greene, Deputy Cox or Deputy Roane from the ACSO. The caller says they have a civil summons, jury duty summons or some legal matter to discuss.
