Some residents of a Lebanon County town were told to immediately evacuate their homes Tuesday while police search for explosive devices.

In a Tuesday news release, Pennsylvania State Police said anyone who lives within a quarter mile of 11 Central Drive in Millcreek Township should evacuate until further notice. The address is for a home in a residential neighborhood outside Newmanstown.

Homes in the area surrounding the address have been evacuated, police said, and everyone else in the quarter-mile zone is under a voluntary evacuation. A shelter was set up at Living Stones Christian Fellowship on Main Street in Newmanstown.
