ST. LOUIS – A St. Louis County woman appeared in federal court Monday and admitted taking out a life insurance policy on her boyfriend and later soliciting someone to kill him.
Prosecutors with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Missouri said Victoria R. Williams pleaded guilty to one count of murder-for-hire conspiracy, murder-for-hire, and money laundering conspiracy in the death of Charles Harris III.
Harris was gunned down on Oct. 5, 2011, at his home in 10500 block of Landford Drive in north St. Louis County. The murder had been made to look like a robbery.
