Alberta Premier Danielle Smith is set to meet with Prime Minister Mark Carney Wednesday ahead of the Liberal Party’s national caucus meeting in Edmonton.

On her call-in Saturday radio show Smith said she is looking to see some “real movement” by the prime minister on her list of nine demands she has been reiterating since the spring, including repealing Bill C-69 dubbed the no more pipelines bill, scrapping the emissions cap, lifting the tanker ban and abandoning the net-zero car mandate.

“The prime minister knows that if we want to restore investor confidence and get the economy moving again, he’s got to either repeal or dramatically revise those bills,” Smith said.
