YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK — All temperature-related fishing restrictions in Yellowstone National Park (YNP) have been lifted.

According to a press release sent Monday, Sept. 8, fishing is now open in all rivers and streams that were partially closed due to warm water temperatures and low flows. Per YNP’s statement, the partial closures were necessary to protect the park’s native and wild trout fisheries when water temperatures exceeded 68°F.
