High school soccer action is heating up in the county as all five county girls and boys teams were in action at some point last week, with the results here being dated as of Monday morning, September 8.
Coach Kierra Wagner and the Peebles Lady Indians evened their record at 3-3 on the season by winning two of three contests last week and barely missed making it a three-game sweep. On September 2, the Peebles girls traveled to Zane Trace and came home with a slim 1-0 victory, the lone goal coming off the foot of senior Aiva Brumley with sophomore goalkeeper Kendall Myers getting the clean sheet between the pipes.
