NORTON, Mass. (WLNE) — The Norton Police Department said a five-year-old was airlifted to the hospital after they fell from the second-story window of a home on Tuesday.
Police and firefighters responded to a home on Goodwin Drive around 12:35 p.m. for reports of a child who had fallen from the second-story porch window.
Police said the porch was a “three-season room with side-to-side sliding windows” which were open when the child fell.
Investigation indicated that the 5-year-old fell out of the window and onto the pavement after they pushed on the window’s screen, causing it to move out of place.
Police said the child was conscious when first responders provided aid.
The child was airlifted via MedFlight to Hasbro Children’s Hospital.
