A Minnesota man with prior drunk-driving convictions was intoxicated behind the wheel again when he caused a head-on crash in Dakota County on Saturday that killed two Apple Valley residents, according to new charges.

Prosecutors charged Seth John Nechville, 28, of Kenyon, on Monday with two counts of criminal vehicular homicide and one count of second-degree driving while impaired in connection with the crash, which killed 68-year-old Peter Foxvog Olson and 49-year-old Patricia Ann Olson.

The criminal complaint alleges that Nechville was traveling northbound in the southbound lane of Highway 56 in Randolph when he caused the deadly head-on crash on the two-lane highway.
