MAHONING COUNTY, Ohio - Prosecutors have tried at least once every year since 2021 to convince a jury that Robert Moore killed 16-year-old Glenna Jean White in 2009.

A key piece of evidence in their case is Moore's involuntary manslaughter conviction from 1992, which involved the death of another woman.

The prosecution argues that the similarity between that case and White's disappearance cannot be coincidental.

However, their request to use this information in the current case was rejected by Judge Maureen Sweeney on Tuesday during a hearing.

Glenna White, who was 16 years old at the time, went missing in 2009.

Since her body has never been found, prosecutors need to convince a jury not only that Moore is responsible but also that White is definitively deceased.
