PITTSBURGH —

An investigation is underway after a man who was reported missing earlier this week was found dead, according to Pittsburgh police Tuesday.

In a post on social media, officials previously said Stephen Williams, 42, was last seen leaving the Downtown Wyndham on Sept. 5 at 11:15 p.m. Advertisement

Police did not disclose where Williams was found and said the cause and manner of death will be determined by the Allegheny County Medical Examiner.
