LAS VEGAS ( FOX5 ) — A woman was convicted in a Medicaid fraud scheme, state officials announced.

Officials said Ariell Olivia Dix, 38, will pay $7.5 million in restitution, costs and penalties as part of her sentencing for multiple felony charges, including submission of false claims; Medicaid fraud; obtaining and using personal identifying information of an older person for an unlawful purpose; and attempted racketeering.

It’s Dix’s second Medicaid fraud conviction in Nevada, having previously faced a fraud conviction in June 2020.
