FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - A man was arrested in Fresno after police said Tuesday he was found with ammunition and two firearms.

On Tuesday, police said that the Northwest District Safety Team and Investigations detectives served an evidentiary search warrant in an ongoing investigation.

The search warrant was served at a home in the area of Birch Avenue and Ila Avenue. After the home was made secure, police said investigators found the firearms and ammunition.

The man whom police said was a felon was arrested.

The unidentified man is facing charges for being a felon in possession of firearms and ammunition. He was booked into the Fresno County Jail.
