KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — A woman posted on Facebook, expressing concern after receiving a letter stating that two-bedroom apartments at Moss Grove had been approved for a new contract rent of $2,379. She said she pays $1,152 for the unit.

10News discovered that rent increase will not be impacting anyone at the complex. A Moss Grove employee said over the phone that some residents received the letter in error. It was only meant for residents using project-based vouchers.

Knoxville's Community Development Corporation said rent payments for residents using vouchers are calculated at 30 percent of their monthly adjusted income, regardless of their contract rent amount.
