WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah (ABC4) — Smoke caused by a grass fire could be seen rising east of the SR-201 and I-215 interchange in West Valley City, and the fire is now under control.

According to a social media post from West Valley City Fire Department, the fire was located near 2280 S Constitution Blvd, and it was brought under control in a quick stop.

Reportedly, wind was a factor in the fire, and it was approximately 6 acres in size when it was controlled. West Valley City Fire Department, South Salt Lake Fire Department, Unified Fire Authority, and Salt Lake City Fire responded to the scene.
