NORMAL, Ill. (WMBD) -- A recent survey shows that life in the town of Normal is great, after above-average ratings from residents.

"There's just something for everyone to do here, and it's a super special little town. I will say that it's got a special place in my heart for sure," said Madeleine Chaudron, a resident in the town.

The town put out a survey in May through July asking residents what they thought about the town. This is the third round of surveys sent out to residents as they continue to improve things around the town.

"Seven out of 10 of our residents say that the overall quality of life in the town is good or excellent. We're just really gratified to receive those results again. We're measuring that on a every six-month basis so that we can keep our fingers on the pulse of
